Absolutely. That's what iKProfiles™ are for.
Anyone participating through our iKCreator process can develop an original fictional female serial killer by exploring her identity, history, relationships, psychology, motive, and the circumstances that shape who she becomes.
Approved iKProfiles may be considered for future story development, although approval does not guarantee that a character will become a Toe-Tagged Tale.
You don't have to write her story to be the reason one exists.

Research is welcome. Reenactment isn't.
Writers can learn from real-world psychology, criminology, behavioral patterns, history, social dynamics, and true-crime research.
What we don't want is a recognizable real case with the names, locations, or identifying details changed.
Toe-Tagged Tales feature original fictional women, original victims, and original crimes. Real suffering shouldn't be recycled and disguised as entertainment.
Learn from reality. Don't recreate somebody else's tragedy.

InnerKiller retains ownership of Toe-Tagged Tales™ published within our story universe, while contributors receive clear credit for their creative work.
Before development begins, contributors are provided with written terms explaining ownership, permitted uses, compensation, credit, and any applicable future royalty participation.
Our goal is simple: protect the InnerKiller universe without making the people who help build it invisible.
Creators and writers deserve recognition for what they contribute, and those terms should be understood before the work begins.
Specific rights, compensation, and royalty participation are governed by each contributor's written agreement.

Yes. Approved iKWriter work is compensated.
We don't consider "exposure" payment for publishable creative work.
Compensation terms are established before an approved writing assignment begins so the writer understands what they're being paid, how they'll be credited, and what rights apply to the finished work.
Depending on the project and contributor agreement, writers may also be eligible for future royalty participation when qualifying revenue is generated from their work.
In other words:
Credit is recognition.
Compensation is compensation.
We believe writers deserve both.

You’ll receive the applicable terms before you submit work for consideration or begin an approved assignment.
InnerKiller's submission and contributor terms explain the important stuff upfront, including eligibility, original-work requirements, intellectual property and permitted uses, contributor credit, compensation, applicable royalty participation, editorial rights, and what happens if a submission is accepted for development or publication.
The terms that apply may differ depending on whether you're submitting an iKProfile™ as an iKCreator or developing a Toe-Tagged Tale™ as an iKWriter, so we'll make sure you're shown the terms relevant to your contribution.
